thyssenkrupp combines Forging and Machining business, Undercarriage business

thyssenkrupp has combined its Forging and Machining business and its Undercarriage business into a new business unit, Forged Technologies. It new unit has roughly 7,000 employees at 18 production sites and a distribution network in more than 70 countries.

The global integration includes seven businesses across North America: Undercarriage businesses in Waukesha, Wis.; Kilgore, Texas; Puyallup, Wash.; and Greenborough, S.C.; and Forging and Machining businesses in Danville, Ill.; Veedersburg, Ind.; and Puebla, Mexico.
